Preamble

I have had a major focus on humility for a long time. I think, however, that this “humble inclination” is really just a guise for fear. Fear of being judged; fear of appearing performative; fear of appearing cringe. While this is a seriously difficult barrier to encounter, moving beyond this barrier is the determining factor as to whether I will experience life abundantly. Put more practically, the potential benefits outweigh the fear of earning one of the aforementioned descriptors. So, I’m trying out this blog thing because the (very limited) social pressure forces me to flesh out these ideas to completion and maybe gives my friends and family a closer examination of me.
